The Emergency Nurses Association is a professional organization recognized internationally for promoting excellence in emergency nursing through leadership, research, education and advocacy.  ENA leads the way in knowledge, resources and responsiveness for emergency nurses, their patients and families. Involvement in ENA reflects a commitment to our nursing practice and high-quality emergency care. Tidewater ENA is the local chapter of over 200 emergency nurses in the regional area that are dedicated to the emergency nursing profession.

Tidewater ENA is a not-for-profit association organized under the Virginia State Council ENA as a 501(c)(3) to advance emergency nursing through education and public awareness.
